Hello!

Welcome to the Full Spectrum Psychological Health community!

I am a somatic clinical psychologist licensed in California (and located to Manhattan, NY), psychological researcher and graduate teacher. I specialize in working with children, adults, couples, and families in crisis, helping them develop their abilities to improve, manage, and maintain their physical and psychological health.

I integrate traditional and progressive psychology methods into my Manhattan, NY-based practice, including depth psychotherapy, family therapy, organic nutrition, and several body-oriented therapies including biodynamic craniosacral therapy, Rosen Bodywork, and improvisational theatre games.

As a clinical psychologist, I am qualified to work with a full spectrum of those interested in improving their ability to repair/maintain their emotional/physical health. I have experience supporting the process of clients ranging from those simply wanting personal growth; to those needing to find their next steps in their career or relationship; and those in severe psychological distress labeled with debilitating diagnoses such as schizophrenia, bipolar, borderline, etc. With my support, each client designs their own integrative therapeutic program tailored to their own health goals. I specialize in assisting those who wish to avoid, minimize, or discontinue their use of toxic medications prescribed for psychological distress.

I am also a practitioner of Tai Ch'i and Zen meditation. I integrate my doctoral training in Eastern philosophy and culture with my training in traditional Western psychology.

Currently, I am based in Manhattan, NY, 10065 and practicing in the New York City area. However, I am available for phone consultation and crisis House Calls anywhere and anytime on this planet, schedule permitting. Contact me for free information and availability.

I am the founder and director of Full Spectrum Progressive Psychology, a therapeutic community dedicated to providing a new standard of psychological health care without relying on medications, diagnoses, or the debilitating hopelessness which accompanies current approaches toward psychological distress.

In addition to my clinical practice, I have conducted psychological research on the dangers and inefficacy of using psychotropic medications to treat psychological distress. My first work, a Phenomenological Investigation of Being Under the Influence of Prozac focused specifically on the dangerously overlooked flaws in the clinical trials, marketing, and subsequent reliance of millions of people on this popular drug. This work also exposed the unproven nature of the theories of biological defect and chemical imbalance which support the use of these toxic drugs and the diagnoses which make them seem necessary.

I have embodied my perspective on human psychological health in two of my past projects based in San Franciscisco. Although the Full Spectrum Progressive Psychology Center and the Organic Psychology Radio Hour are no longer active, their descriptions, including audio and video clips, are presented on this website along with some of my writings and lectures on the dangers and inefficacy of psychotropic medications.

I look forward to hearing how I can support you in achieving your goals of recovering and/or improving your physical and emotional health as quickly as possible.
